Sarah Moran (Dancer, Workshop Presenter)

Bio

No stranger to the stage, Sarah Moran has been a performer since she was 4 years old.  She has studied, choreographed, taught and performed in many dance styles including drill team, ballet, tap, jazz, lyrical, modern, country western, belly dance and most recently Bollywood and Spanish flamenco.  She loves fusing the different styles to create her own unique choreography.  She has danced internationally in Reggio Emilia, Italy during her BFA in Modern Dance at Texas Christian University and recently has been invited to perform in televised Indian Dance Competitions with her Bollywood/Flamenco fusion.  She made it to the final round of the Mera Dance Meri Virasaat Online Dance Competition out of Bhopal, India this past August 2020.  Over the past 5 years she has mastered the art of dancing in the Bata de Cola or Spanish dress with long trein and has been featured as a flamenco soloist in many cultural dance festivals, belly dance shows, educational presentations and flamenco shows in the Dallas Ft. Worth metroplex.  She performed for 2 years with the Conte de Loyo Flamenco Dance Theatre and for 3 years with the Bata De Cola Ensemble directed by Alane Gabriel.  Since the pandemic she has been presenting her work online on Instagram and Facebook as well as participating in online international video projects.  Sarah is co-owner of AG Flamenco Couture, which is a company that manufactures and sells designer Batas de Cola out of Dallas, TX.  Holding an MED in Secondary Education as well from TCU, Sarah also currently works as a High School Counselor.  She is pleased to be a part of the Haus of Ollom and hopes to continue to inspire people, especially women, to listen to and embody the Divine Feminine Goddess energy in their lives and express it through art and intuition.  Sarah hopes to inspire others to harness this energy as well as attract their dreams into their lives. Sarah Moran’s discussion with John Ollom speaks to her journey from her Contemporary Dance Training from Texas Christian University to her current dance practice. Through this journey she has become a visionary for women in Dallas needing to celebrate their bodies and spirits.
