Internal Landscapes: Evolution

Our 2015 Gala Artists:

Internal Landscapes: Evolution artists: John Ollom (Movement Artist), Lindsay Metcalf (Installation Work) & José Javier Peña Aguayo (Composer) presenting samples of their work and some sneak peaks at this exciting immersive experience which takes you on a journey through our internal psychic evolution. Set in five rooms of the Spool Mfg. contemporary art space, this promises to be an exciting new adventure for us all.

Jim Sable presents a sneak peek of Under My Skin, a photo/audio commentary of how our current digital society is forcing us to project our own beliefs and history into pictures and how sound and voice affects those perceptions. Contains nudity.

Jill Krutick (Oil Paintings on Canvas) paints out of need to capture movement through a texturized canvas. A featured artist at the Ollom Art Festival in Northampton, MA, Jill will show select works from her portfolio.

Chriztine Foltz (Textile Art) presents fabric art from Prisoner of My Projection and tapestries that are jacquard woven in monochromatic black and white, then used as a substrate for painting images which encourage the eye to explore.

Emma McCagg (Painting/Film) shows Men In Love (With Each Other), a painting from a performance piece with John Ollom, and a clip from the documentary work in progress There’s Something About John.

Ken Sheller (Work on Paper) presents his fascinating work with the line and form of the body and the liminal space into which we project.

Shari Berman (Film) after many years of collaboration with Ollom Art presents a glimpse of her newest work, “Sugar!” starring Alice Ripley.

Yael Acher “KAT” Modiano (Music), an international award-winning flutist and composer will perform live electro-acoustic flute.

Emily Winkler-Morey (Movement Artist) will present a live performance of her newest work in progress: I see you We all get looked at all day long, but it is a is rare and freeing feeling to be seen.

Dennis Nauert (Photography) from Austin, Texas, presents photos that are reflections of his dreams, desires and fears expressed through the male form. Contains nudity.

Jeanette Hardie (Video/Movement Art) presents her recent video work “Women’s Anguish” which she created using the Internal Landscapes© technique and features a vocal soundtrack by Brie Lobbett.

and YOU!! Bring your own creativity as we all create our first ever – community art work!

Autographed copies of Internal Landscapes by John Ollom MFA will be for sale.

Dance Inspirations will be provided by our good friend – DJ Boni D

Tickets $50 (if purchased by November 1st)
$60 after November 1st
A convenience fee will be added to all charge orders.

Tickets will only be sold at the door on Saturday. Full Gala Tickets are extremely limited. Please consider a post meal ticket purchased at the door.

We just added some special tickets for entrance at 7:30 PM which does NOT include the meal and with limited refreshments. Tickets are only $20 and are first come, first served.  ($1.00 convenience fee these tickets).
