BIO
I am a gay male. I am a husband, a father, a grandfather, a son, and a brother, minister and psychologist. I am native of the hills of East Tennessee, but have lived across the United States from the Great Plains to Kentucky to New York. As my life journey has taken me to varied physical locations, my spiritual and psychological journey has taken me along roads I would have never imagined. The survivor instincts of my forefathers in Southern Appalachia propelled me into the openness of the Great Plains to the scholarly work of Louisville and to the real spiritual work of helping others in crisis. Along the way my own personal, spiritual journey continues to transform me.
