Photo Gallery of Threads (For Mature Audiences – Contains Nudity)

John Ollom’s newest daring work in progress was presented in collaboration with Bronx Academy of Art and Dance (BAAD!) on May 10, 2024 at 8 PM.

Featuring movement artists John Ollom, Edward Barron, and Jim Ferguson and poetry by Perry Brass, Threads is an interdisciplinary exploration into the energetic flow and blocks that we all explore as we search for personal freedom.   Movement opens up to explorations of the present as trauma no longer defines our existence.  Threads unite and shape us. Celebrating over 20 years of art shaping the landscapes of our lives.

Prismatic Productions, Inc./ Ollom Art was founded in 2003 as a non-profit by Jim Sable and John Ollom. Over the past twenty years, we have presented art with over 150 artists and creatives. We began producing dance theatre events at the Clark Theatre at Lincoln Center in 2004 and 2006 and many venues across the USA. Our dance work evolved into annual Summer Programs at Smith College teaching dance and the John Ollom’s revolutionary Internal Landscapes method. Our artistic director, John Ollom has been featured in five documentaries; two of which have won awards. We have also created a short film Karpos and Kalamos and Composition #1. In everything that we do, we have always encouraged authentic expressions of self that release shame and promote individual growth. Our works evolved to also highlight many diverse artists’ works in many of our semi-annual events. We slowly built a community of diverse artists that provide a network of support for each other. During the pandemic, we developed the Haus of Ollom, an online presence for artists to highlight their work. Our Artistic Director, John Ollom, completed his most recent book, “Rocks in the River” which will be used in conjunction with his Internal Landscapes technique in numerous presentations this coming year. We also hosted weekly Zoom meetings to provide a way for artists to stay connected to the community and keep their artistic pursuits alive. Landscapes, our week long 20th Anniversary Celebration last year featured the works of sixteen artists presented at One Art Space in New York City. We ask you to join us as we continue to explore the landscapes of our lives.
